Lesson 11 - Building UI Graphics With Photoshop

For this lesson we were looking at designing UI interfaces on Photoshop and for our task we needed to make one either that we thought looked good or one to go with our organization game, I chose to make one I thought looked good.

This is what I came up with for my UI design, I wanted to have a medieval theme so decided to have a dragon on the menu, I then cam to the realization that I should have the texture effect look as close tro leather as possible because of dragons being known for having scaly or leathery skin. So I added a paper texture to the image that looked most like leather and then changed the colour of it to a leather brown, once I had done this I felt that the background needed more of too it as it seemed like it was too plain. So I added a light shade of grey to the top left hand corner to make it look like the light was shining down on the dragon. Had I been able to finish this I would have had some buttons and probably had them made out of a cobble brick style.
