StoryBoard

Above are the initial sketches for my storyboard, I wanted to show a story of a man going after an ancient demon sword and then it consumed him as he used it. So for this I decided I wanted to have a flashback to who the sword belonged to before the main character. However when first drawing this I decided to leave it out as it could have been distracting, however when I finshed I realised that it needed to be there to add context to the storyboard.

This is one of the flashback frames I decided to have, this shows the last fight that the Demon went through before being imprisoned in his sword by an angel. The reason for this was to have a dynamic shot to show what he went through and why he would be angry and want revenge, also in this image I played on the stereotype of demons being red by having his skin red and then his armor black, to hint at an evil knight, such as the black knight.

This is one of my final images for the storyboard in which the man who acquired the sword in the modern day is overcome by the demonic power (shown through the dark area behind him) the reason for having him grayed out was to show that he was losing control of himself and having his life stolen.
